Second Night Passover Seder
Tuesday, April 23, 2024 • 15 Nisan 5784
6:00 PM - 8:00 PMNewman Hall
Celebrate Passover as we reflect upon our ancestors’ liberation from bondage and the historic fight for freedom at our family-oriented second-night Seder. Seder led by Rabbi Jessica Zimmerman Graf and education director Jonathan Emanuel with music by Melita Silberstein. The Seder raises funds for our keystone Chicken Soupers and HaMotzi programs that feed homebound seniors, those in need of healing and residents of local shelters.
Seder sold out, no walk-in or day of seats available.
Our annual Seder raises thousands of dollars each year that enables us to provide meals to Compass Family Shelter, A Woman's Place and homebound Jewish seniors and those in need for the year.
- $250 provides sandwiches for children at Compass Family Services for a month
- $250 provides milk for both shelters for a month
- $500 provides fresh fruit for a month for shelter residents, Chesed and Chicken Soupers recipients
- $1000 provides protein for the shelters, Chesed and Chicken Soupers for a month
- $3,600 provides disposable individual portion containers for a year and PPE for volunteers
